Celebrating your Relationship
The Church Councils of St Martin’s Eynsford and St. Peter and St Paul’s Farningham have recently met and reflected on the House of Bishop’s Living in Love and Faith Pastoral Guidance on offering blessings to same-sex couples following a civil marriage or civil partnership.

We are pleased to announce that the above churches adopted a resolution to pray God’s blessing with couples during the main Sunday Service. This means that we are now able to offer services of blessing to those in same-sex relationships. This is an opportunity to celebrate your relationship before God, and your family and friends. In our churches, we believe that love, wherever it is experienced, is a gift from God. One of the most unique and wonderful ways in which we can experience that gift is through the intimacy between two people.

Your first step is to contact us to discuss your service and to meet the clergy who will carry it out. We will take time to guide you through the process, to get to know you, and to ensure that together we can tailor a service that feels right for you and for your relationship, but [for now until the guidance changes] within the context of a Sunday service.
