Welcome to the Anglican churches of Eynsford, Farningham and Lullingstone
We exist to glorify God and enjoy him forever
We welcome all to join us
We are delighted to announce that the parish representatives, our Cathedral Patron, the Archdeacon and Bishop James have agreed that Rev'd Dorothy McGarvey should be appointed as Rector of the Benefice of Eynsford with Farningham and Lullingstone.
The date of our new Rector's Institution will be on 26th November at 7.30pm.
Hurrah! Sunday services are back from 6th September
We welcome you back in church! It is really wonderful to worship together once more, although it will be a little different as we adhere to the Government and Church of England guidance.
There are a few housekeeping rules that we will all need to remember so that we keep each other safe:
- Hand sanitiser to be used as we enter and leave the church
- All those over the age of 11 must wear a face covering in church unless you meet one of the Government exemptions.
- Names and telephone numbers of those attending will be held for 21 days to facilitate NHS Test and Trace if anyone tests positive for the virus.
- We must maintain 2 metres social distancing within the building.
So that we can arrange the seating to maintain 2 metres between social groupings, we ask that you let us know if you will be attending church on a Sunday. To do this please either email or telephone Rev’d Dorothy on firstname.lastname@example.org or 07969175768 by 6pm on the preceding Friday. Please state which church, your name and telephone number and how many are in your group. This will enable the church wardens to prepare the seating to meet the 2-metre rule. I know this might all feel a little onerous but I believe it is worth it so that we can once more meet together for worship in our churches. We ask for your understanding as we try to keep everyone safe.
We also understand that some will feel anxious about returning to our church buildings for worship so we will continue with the online services as well as worship in church. We will continue with our online service and Zoom prayer meetings. If you have any questions please do get in touch and I will do my best to help, God Bless, Rev’d Dorothy.
